The cultural clues within the UK poster are that there are more characters in the poster; the logo for the film is more detailed and broad writh it transparent to the background. It also uses more shapes and graphics in the poster.
US Poster
In the US poster, we notice that the background is simple but light what could mis-represent that they would be good girls. There is only a building faded in the background and there are fewer characters than the UK poster, they only show the main characters as compared to the other poster which shows all characters. They use a more simple to read logo and title, with a “BAD” sign gratified on top of the letters “FOR”. In the US poster we can see the name of Mischa Barton of which more people will know her in the US from the Grays Anatomy.
